Abstrak

The study was backed by by the lack of writing skills of students in the class IV SD Negri 04 V Koto Kampung Dalam Padang Pariaman was caused at the time the learning process less teachers motivate students so that students are less interested in writing. The purpose of this research is to improve the writing skills of students of class IV pantun in writing with the model Group Investigation in SDN 01 V Koto Kampung Dalam. This type of research is research action class. The subject of this research is the grade IV SDN 04 V Koto Kampung Dalam. Research instrument used is the observation sheet activities of teachers and the learning outcomes of students test sheet. The results showed that the model Group Investigation can improve student learning outcomes in cycle I, with an average of 65.27 and rose to 77.77. On the activities of the teachers I cycle with an average of 62 be 85 in cycle II. From the results it can be concluded that learning Indonesian Language in making your model by using the Group's Investigation can improve writing skills of students of class IV SDN 04 V Koto Kampung Dalam. Based on the results of this study researchers suggest that teachers can implement the model Group Investigation in the Indonesian Language learning in improving student writing skills.
