PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA SEKILAS SISWA KELAS IV

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in student four class  with models
in elementary twentyKuraopagang Padang  city Nanggalo.  The theory used is(1) Cooperative
Integrated  Reading  And  Composition  (CIRC)  proposed  by  Istarani  (2011),  (2)  the  theory
reading  forward  by  Dalman  (2013),  (3)  theory  skimming    the  put  forward  by  Tarigan
(2005).This research is  a classroom  action research with research subject  as many  as twenty
seven  student  four  class    in  elementary  twenty  Kuraopagang  Padang  city  Nanggalo.  The
research was conducted in two cycles. Based  on research conducted,  in cycle one the ability 
skimming    student  with  models  Cooperative  Integrated  Reading  And  Composition  (CIRC)
gained on average of 69,53 with the percentage of completeness 59,25% and increase in cycle
two with an average of  84,75 with the percentage of completeness 85,18%. Next the final test
the  cycle  one  gained  on  average  of  71,29with  the  percentage  of  completeness  55,55%    and
increase in cyle two with average of 80.00 withthe percentage of completeness 81,48%. Based
on the research can be concluded  with by using modelsCooperative Integrated Reading And
Composition  (CIRC)can  improve  the  skimmingstudent  four  class    in  elementary  twenty
Kuraopagang Padang city Nanggalo
