Abstrak

ABSTRACT

 

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in the ability to reason and class V student learning outcomes through the model Probing Prompting Learning in learning science. This type of research is composed of two cycles PTK. The subjects were students of class V, the research was conducted in the second semester of the 2015/2016 Academic Year. The research instrument was the observation sheet reasoning abilities of students and teacher activity observation sheet. Based on the research results, obtained that the reasoning abilities of students in the first cycle indicator I expressed the opinion at the meeting of 14.81%, and 22.22% conclude the subject matter. While at the second meeting of the ability to reason in an opinion 29.63%, and 44.44% conclude the subject matter. in the second cycle indicators express opinions at the first meeting 74.07%, and 77.78% conclude the subject matter. While at the second meeting of the ability to reason in an opinion 77.78%, and  92.09% conclude the subject matter. The average results of learning cycle I was 69 with learning completeness percentage of 40.74% and the second cycle 83 with a percentage of 81.48% mastery learning. It can be concluded that the science lesson using the model Probing prompting learning in class V SDN 09 Surau Tower of Padang can improve the ability to reason and student learning outcomes.
