ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN IPA BIOLOGI DAN HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMPN 31 PADANG

Abstrak

The research aims to determine how the use of media science teaching biology and its relation to the results of class VIII student of SMPN 31 Padang. The study was descriptive with a population of 96 students of class VIII SMPN 31 Padang enrolled in the 2nd half of the school year 2015/2016, with a sample of 78 students. The variables of this research is the variable X (the use of instructional media) and Y (of student learning outcomes). There are two types of data, data on the use of media learning science Biology (primary data) which uses questionnaires and secondary data in the form of learning outcomes of the student's biology derived from the science teacher value daily tests. Data were analyzed using SPSS 16.0 and formula product moment correlation of the results of the research shows that the average sub variable of learning media usage overall with a value (4.41) with high interpretations. In the students' perception of earned media value (4.63), on the feasibility of media with the value (4.36), on the use of instructional media obtained value (4.11), and the suitability of learning media obtained value (4.55). The correlation analysis using SPSS 16.0 with a formula product moment r = 0.900 a significant gain 0.00 <0.01, it can be concluded that the relationship between the two variables using media learning science Biology with a significant level of learning outcomes at the level of 0,01 or 99% showed a positive association the use of media with student learning outcomes.
