Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This research is background by the less of activities suggested opinion and the solving of students problem class V to study IPA along with of low resulting cognitive students (the level understanding) in SDN 15 Surau Gadang Siteba Padang. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of activities, the suggesting of opinion, and the solving problem, along with the result of cognitive students to study carefully IPA by Creative Problem Solving Method in the class V SDN 15 Surau Gadang Siteba Padang. The kind of this research is action class research that is done in two cycle, each of them consist of two meeting time. The subject of this research is student class V with number 26 people. The instrument that used is the sheet of observation activities studying teachers, the sheet of observation student activities, and the sheet of the end test cycle. The result of this research is showed the average score activities says the opinion in the first cycle is amount 47,7%, rising in the second cycle is amount 80,4%,the activities of problem solving in the first cycle is amount 43,7%, rising in the second cycle is amount 78,5%. The average of studying students in the end test of first cycle is amount 73 with completeness 50,0%, rising in the second cycle is amount 80,3 with completeness 80,8%. From this research, it can be concluded that activities and result of studying students in the studying IPA can be improved with Creative Problem Solving Method. Based on this research, the researcher suggested to the teachers should be used Creative Problem Solving Method to increase activities and result of studying students.
