PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS III DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS DENGAN METODE MEDIA GAMBAR DI SD NEGERI 14 LUBUK ALUNG
Abstrak
This research was motivated by the low activity in the third grade students of SDN 14 Lubuk Alung Padang Pariaman district. The purpose of this study is to describe the activities of students in learning social studies class III SDN 14 Lubuk Alung Padang Pariaman using media images. This research is a classroom action research. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is implemented in two cycles. The fact that happened in class III SD Negeri14 LubukAlung, that teachers still use the lecture method and delivery focused on learning materials. In addition, researchers noticed the lack of student learning activities, especially in social studies learning. Based on the analysis of student learning activities in social studies learning data showed that in the first cycle, students who pass the study on indicators ask 45%, answered questions on the indicator and the indicator 37.50% 37.50% expression. While on the second cycle, students who pass the study on indicators ask 80%, answered questions on the indicator and the indicator 85% 80% .From expression results obtained, it can be concluded that the IPS learning through the method of media images on third-grade students of SD Negeri 14 Lubuk Alung can increase the activity of students in social studies learning. Researchers suggested to other researchers to be able to use traditional methods of media images in order to increase student learning activities.
