This study aimed to describe poor performance of fourth grade students learn civics State 10 Kinali Pasaman Barat. The purpose of this research is to improve the knowledge, understanding, discipline, and responsibility for learning outcomes Civics fourth grade students using models improve. The research subject is the fourth grade students of SDN 10 Kinali Pasaman Barat, totaling 20 students. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Ssebagai instrument used is the observation sheet activities of teachers, research affective domain (non-test) and cognitive assessment (test). Based on the results of cognitive research on students' knowledge average value of the first cycle the percentage of completeness 50% with an average of 74.5. Increased in the second cycle the percentage of 80% with an average of 83.5. The ability of student understanding first cycle percentage of 45% with an average of 73.00. Increased in the second cycle the percentage of completeness 70% with an average of 79.00, the affective domain assessment on the ability of the discipline and responsibility of students the first cycle with the average percentage of completeness 67.81, an increase in cycle II with an average percentage of 78.73 , Based on the results of this study concluded that learning Improve Civics through the model can improve the learning outcomes of the fourth grade students at SDN 10 Kinali, West Pasaman.
