PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS IVA MELALUI MODEL MODELLING THE WAY PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SD NEGERI 20 KURAO PAGANG

Abstract
This research is motivated by the lack of ability to speak Indonesian students
learning in class IVA SD Negeri 20 Kurao Pagang. The purpose of this research is to improve
the ability to speak graders IVA through models Modelling The Way on learning Indonesian
in SD Negeri 20 Kurao Pagang. A reference model of learning Modelling The Way drawn
from the theory proposed by Istarani and Zaini. while talking theory put forward by Resmini.
This research is a classroom action research (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. The data
source is the class IVA SD Negeri 20 Kurao Pagang. The instrument used is the assessment
form their speaking ability, teacher activity sheet and test sheet student learning outcomes.
The research showed that the students' speaking ability in conveying the message received by
telephone in the first cycle of 38.46 increased in the second cycle into 80.76, their speaking
ability in a speech on the first cycle of 26.92 increased in the second cycle into 76.92 , From
the data analysis, the value of the average student in their speaking ability in the first cycle
increase in cycle II 54.80 into 75.96. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is an
increased ability to speak graders IVA through models Modelling The Way on learning
Indonesian in SD Negeri 20 Kurao Pagang.
