RETORIKA DAN DIKSI DALAM DAKWAH USTADZ MAULANA PADA PROGRAM ACARA “ISLAM ITU INDAH” DI TRANS TV

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research was to describe the rhetorical pattern of motivated order and the choice of word (diction) in speech delivered by ustadz Maulana. This research used rhetorical pattern about motivated order by Rakhmat and diction theory of classification of word by Keraf. The type of this research was qualitative, which produced descriptive data in the form of observable written or spoken words. The method was descriptive which was started from collecting, identifying, analyzing the data, and concluding. The object of this research was rhetoric and diction by uztadz Maulana, who is as a lecturer in “Islam Itu Indah” show at Trans TV. Based on the result of the data analysis in discourse delivered by ustadz Maulana, there was found 5 phases motivated order which encompassed: concern phase, need phase, satisfaction phase, visualization phase, and action phase. Then, the diction was tasting words, science word, slang, idiom, artificial word, and diction in the form of foreign word and phrase. Based on the research, there was found 80 data which consisted 5 phases of rhetorical pattern of motivated order and 6 classifications of diction. They were 46 data which had the rhetorical pattern of motivated order and diction, and 34 data which only had the rhetorical pattern of motivated order. Based on the result of the research, the conclusion was that in Ustadz Maulana speech was found 6 patterns of motivated order and 6 classifications of diction.
