Abstrak

This research is motivated by the lack of student motivation and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in motivation and learning outcomes fifth grade students through the learning model Concept Sentence on learning Indonesian in SDN 24 Pasaman. The theory used in this research is the theory (1) Concept learning model proposed by Shoimin Sentence (2014), (2) learning and learning theory advanced by Hamalik (2013). This research is the subject of a class action with 31 students, male students  18 male and 13 female students in class V SDN 24 Pasaman. The study was conducted in the second cycle. The results of the first cycle study with an average value of 66.12 and the results of students' learning motivation questionnaire is 33.67. There was an increase in student learning outcomes, namely 86.12 and students' learning motivation questionnaire results with an average value of 71.38. Based on the results of this study concluded that learning Indonesian using Concept Sentence learning model can improve motivation and learning outcomes of students of class V SDN 24 Pasaman.
