Abstrak

This research is describe the increasing of discussion activity, the result of cognitive learning (comprehension) and the result of affective learning (cooperation) students of class IVB on learning PKn by using Small-Group Work (SGW) model at SDN 35 Pagambiran Padang. This research is a classroom action research, with the subject IVB grade students of SDN 35 Pagambiran Padang totaling 34 students. The research was conducted in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. The research instrument used is the observation sheet teacher activities, student activity observation sheet, sheet affective aspects of assessment of learning outcomes of students and students' cognitive achievement test. PKn learning implementation is progressing well. Based on the research results, obtained an average percentage of student discussion activity in the first cycle was 58.8% in the second cycle increased to 82.3%. The average results of the cognitive aspects of learning level of understanding in the first cycle is 75 to 50% mastery level increased in the second cycle to 82.8 with a 82.4% level of completeness. The average results of studying the affective aspects (cooperation) in the first cycle was 79.5 with 64.7% completeness rate increased in the second cycle to 90.6 with a 82.4% level of completeness. This means learning PKn by using Small-Group Work (SGW) model can increase the activity and student learning outcomes SDN 35 IVB class Pagambiran Padang. Based on this study, it can be concluded that the learning Small-Group Work (SGW) model can increase the activity and learning outcomes IVB PKn class students of SDN 35 Pagambiran Padang.
