PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI PENDEKATAN VALUE CLARIFICATION TECHNIQUE (VCT) SISWA
Abstrak
The purposes of this research is to describe studentsimproving in learning achievement at class IV in social knowledge (IPS) by using value clarification technique (VCT) approach at SDN 09 Surau Gadang Kota Padang. This research was class investigation, this research was taken in two cycles, each cycles consist of two meeting and once cycle finish test. Subject of this reseach was students class IV SDN 09 Surau Gadang Padang City amount of 26 students. The instrument used in this research was teacher activities observation sheet, affective domain assessment observation sheet and students cognitive learning achievement test. From the result of this research founded percentage of students affective domain assessment in I cycle as 48% on average 65 increase on II cycle become 76,9% on average 75 and completeness ofstudents cognitive learning achievement in I cycle 46,1% on average 66,5 increase on II cycle as 76,9% on average 81,9. Therefore, social knowledge (IPS) learning process by using value clarification technique (VCT) approach able to increasing students learning achievement. From the result of this research, the researcher recommendation the teacher used value clarification technique (VCT) to increasing students learning achievement insocial knowledge (IPS) learning process.
