PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS IV SD MELALUI METODE DUA TINGGAL DUA TAMU DI SD NEGERI 08 MANDEH PESISIR SELATAN
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the conventional learning activities of students while studying cause has not been seen optimally, student activities were bold in expressing their opinions as much as 8 out of 21 people with a percentage of 38.09%, the activity of the students who answered questions from teachers only demonstrated by 6 people with a percentage of 28.57%, the students who do the work assigned by the teacher. well as many as 10 people with a percentage of 47.62%, the activity of the students who are able to make a conclusion at the end of learning as much as 9 people with the percentage of 42.86%, and low learning results obtained by students in social studies learning. The purpose of research is to describe and explain the process increased activity and student learning outcomes through the implementation of the method Two Stay Two guest. This type of research is classroom action research. Subjects in this study is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri No. 08 Mandeh South Coastal District, which has 21 people with social and economic backgrounds are different. This study consisted of two cycles in which each cycle consisted of three meetings ie twice to discuss the matter and one final test. Instruments in this study is the observation sheet teacher, student observation sheet, and achievement test. The results showed an increase in activity and student learning outcomes through the implementation of the method Two Stay Two Stray. The percentage of completeness Cycle 1 was 61.90% with an average of 63.14, and the percentage of completeness cycle 2 was 90.48% with an average of 83.14.
