PENERAPAN MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING DISERTAI QUIZ PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 12 PADANG

Abstract

The student's result of learning math still on under the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). It cause of there are some student’s who are not ready to study, student's attention that are still low, and student's less participation in learning Math. By considering them, The Discovery Learning model with Quiz can be one of alternative to solve those problems. The aim of this research is to know the student's result of study by using The Discovery Learning model with Quiz. This type of research is an experimental research. The population of this research are students of Grade VIII  at SMP Negeri 12 Padang on 2015/2016 year. Two classes are choosen as an experiment class and an control class from eight classes. The data got by student's result of both sample class. To get the conclusion, doing data analysis by using "uji-t", furthermore, the writer can get the conclusion that students' result of studying math by using the Discovery Learning model with Quiz and student's result of studying math that implement usual learning on Grade VIII classes at SMP Negeri 12 Padang. Key words : Math, Discovery Learning and Quiz .
