PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMP N 4 PADANG

Abstrak

Abstract

                    This research will be based on by the majority of the value second daily math students of  grade VII at  SMP N 4 Padang 2015/2016 still under  the KKM. There are several factors that cause to low learning outcomes that is still the lack of activeness of students. One of the ways can solve this problem is by applying the  cooperative learning model Think Pair Share. Think Pair Share requires students to think, pair and share in solving the problems. With the implementation of this model, students are confident in speech and students can solve the problem by discussing.  The purpose of this research is to be able to describe the development of student activitty during apply cooperative learning model Think Pair Share, to know the results of learning and incase students learning outcomes during apply cooperative learning model Think Pair Share. This type of research is a type of  experiment. Population in the research is students of grade VII SMP N 4 Padang in academic year 2015/2016 consisting of six classes. Samples were taken two classes using normality test, homogeneity of variance and average similarity test thus been VII.1 class as an experimental class and the class as a class VII.5 control. Based on the research , development of the students activity in the class experiment tends to increase. The final test scores analyzed student learning using t-test and N-gain to see the increase in students learning outcomes analyzed using u-test. Data analysis for t-test were obtained P = 0,949  0,05. In the conclusion H0 rejected, otherwise thank H1.  It means  that the results of learning math students who apply cooperative learning model Think Pair Share is better than the results of learning math students who applied regular learning. Data N-gain analysis for u-test were obtained P= 0,2228  0,05. In the conclusion H1 rejected, otherwise thank H0. It means that increased the results of learning math students that happened in class that implements cooperative learning Think Pair Share aqually well with increased students learning math results which occur in classes that impement regular learning.
