PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN SISWA KELAS IV DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING COMPOSITION DI SD NEGERI 03 KECAMATAN PAUH KOTA PADANG
Abstrak
The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in reading comprehension of fourth grade students using a model integrated reading cooperative composition in SD Negeri 03 Binuang Kampung Dalam Padang city. In accordance with the objectives stated by Tarin that the main purpose of reading is to seek and obtain information, including the content, understand the meaning of the reading type of research is classroom action research conducted collaboratively and participants. The research instrument used is a sheet activities of students and teachers as well as achievement test sheet. This research was conducted in two cycles. The subject of this study is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 03 Binuang Kampung Dalam Padang city totaling 28 people. Based on the research that has been carried out, the result of analysis of student activity observation sheet obtained an average percentage of student activity in the first cycle was 70.77, while in the second cycle the average percentage obtained 90.00 Percentage of mastery learning cycle I is 28.57 with an average value of 54.29 while the percentage of mastery learning on the second cycle is 92.86 with an average value of 86.43. It can be concluded that by using a model Integrated Reading Composition Coopertaif can improve reading comprehension fourth grade students of SDN 03 Binuang Kampung Dalam Padang City. Researchers suggested that teachers can use in the application of the model CooperativeIntegrated Reading Composition.
