Abstrak

Abstract

Many students math results are still low, group discussions did not run smoothly, one of which is to implement cooperative learning model Take and Give. The urpose of this study is to see the results of student’s matehmatics learning by alying cooperative learning model Take and Give is better than the results of student’s mathematics learning by applying the usual learning in grade X SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP Padang. The population in this study were grade X SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP Padang in the academic year 2015/2016 which consists of seven classes. This type of research is experimental. The instruments used of achievement test. Based on the analysis of data from students' mathematics learning in both samples were normally distributed and homogeneous, then the hypothetical formula used to test was t. After processing the data,the means that  H0 rejected and meaningful mathematics learning outcomes by implementing cooperative learning model Take and Give is better than the results of students' mathematics learning by applying classroom learning at grade X of SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP Padang. The researchers suggests that these results can be into consideration or an input for other researcher who want to do the same research and advanced research.
