Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to describe the increase in interest and student learning outcomes in science teaching fourth grade SDN 12 Batang Tiku through the application of learning models Two Stay Two Stray. This type of research is PTK consisting of two cycles. The research location is SDN 12 Batang Tiku. The subjects were students of class IV with a total of 12 people. The instrument used is a sheet of teacher activity observation, observation sheet student's interest in expressing their opinions, discuss, and informs, and test student learning outcomes. The results obtained, there is increasing interest in students in an opinion of 37%, 50% discuss, and informs 41% in the first cycle, and an increase in the expression 62%, 72% discuss, and informs 66% on the second cycle. Based on the research that has been conducted in mind that the average value of the final exam cycle I was 43, with the percentage of learning completeness 0%. While the average value of the final exam cycle II is 75, with a percentage of 75% mastery learning. Based on the research, interest and class IV student learning outcomes can be improved through models Two Stay Two Stray on learning science at SDN 12 Batang Tiku. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can use the method Two Stay Two Stray in science learning well to encourage and increase student learning outcomes.
