PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IV MELALUI STRATEGI INFORMATION SEARCH DI SDN 04 KAMPUNG OLO NANGGALO PADANG

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the low activity of the students and the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in social studies SDN 04 Kampung Olo Padang. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in activity to answer questions, discuss activities and social research results of fourth grade students of SDN 04 Kampung Olo Padang use information search strategies. The subjects were the fourth grade students of SDN 04 Kampung Olo, as many as 26 students. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet student activity and teacher activity observation sheet. Based on the research that has been done can be seen that the activity of students in answering the question in the first cycle was obtained increase of 47.31% on average in the average cycle II with an average of 76.00%. The activities of students in group discussions in the first cycle was obtained increase of 59.41% in the second cycle with an average percentage of 84.00%. student learning outcomes also increased in the first cycle the average percentage of students learning completeness of 63,63%. In the second cycle students learning completeness percentage reached 96%. While the teacher activity also increased in the first cycle was obtained 67.96% increase in the second cycle into 83.59%. This means that the implementation of learning social studies using strategies Search Information goes well. It can be concluded that the activity of answering questions, discussions and student learning outcomes in social studies learning increases through information search strategies.
