This study aimed to describe the increase in activity and the ability to read aloud asked students learning Indonesian class II through the model Learning Starts With A Question. The opinions referenced are the opinions Hamalik (2007) for the activity ask, models Learning Strats With A Question put forward opinions Istarani (2012) and Siberman (2014), an opinion that made reference to read are those of Farida Rahim (2011), the type of study is a proposed class action research Arikunto opinion (2012). This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. This research was grade II SDN 31 Koto Pulai totaling 21 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet student activities, teacher observation sheet, test students' ability to read aloud. The results obtained an increase in the average percentage of student activity first cycle of 41% to 69%. The average percentage of activity the teachers from 69.5% to 89, 5%. The average percentage of students reading at the first cycle of 58.33% in the second cycle increased by 82.35%. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is increased activity asks, reading aloud and class II student learning outcomes SDN 31 Koto Pulai, District Lengayang District Pesisir Selatan.
