MAKNA IDIOM DALAM LIRIK LAGU RAYOLA ALBUM HANYO PUNYO CINTO SUATU TINJAUAN SEMANTIK

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This research is conducted to describe the idiomatic meaning in the lyrics of Rayola’s song album Hanyo Punyo Cinto that includes (1) the part of body idiom, (2)  the sensory words idiom, (3) the colors name idiom, (4) the name of nature thing idiom, (5) the animals name idiom, (6) the name of plant idiom, (7) the nominal words idiom. The theories used by researcher in this research are the idiomatic meaning from Chaer (2007:296). The research design in this research was qualitative research by using descriptive method. The source of data in this research is lyrics of Rayola’s song album Hanyo Punyo Cinto. The technique that is used to get the validity of the research is discussing with pairs. Based on data analysis, the researcher found that there are some idiomatic meaning in the lyrics of Rayola’s song album Hanyo Punyo Cinto. They are; the part of body idiom such as heart, the name of nature thing such as the sky, the colors name idiom such as red color, the sensory words idiom such as eyes, the animals name idiom such as bumblebee, and also the name of plant idiom such as flowers.
