Abstrak

ABSTRACT

 

This research is motivated by the low learning results obtained by students at SDN 26 Sikaladi learning mathematics. Low student learning outcomes is because teachers only deliver learning materials to students and give examples of questions based on the problems that exist in the book of prints. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcome of fourth grade students in learning mathematics using cooperative learning model of type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). This type of research is a classroom action research. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students of SDN 26 Sikaladi totaling 18 people. The research instrument is comprised of teacher activity observation sheets and sheets achievement test. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four sessions and added one final test cycle. Based on the results of research carried out, in the first cycle average cognitive aspects of learning outcomes (knowledge and understanding) was obtained with classical completeness (55.56%). In the second cycle was obtained average results of cognitive learning levels of knowledge and understanding of the classical completeness (72.22%). Thus, it can be concluded that learning mathematics through cooperative learning model Student Teams Achievement Division can improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 26 Sikaladi.
