The study was motivated by the lack of student motivation in learning mathematics in fourth grade and low student learning outcomes in learning Mathematics. This study aimed to describe the increase in motivation and learning outcomes of students in learning mathematics through a model of the type cooperative learning Think Pair Square in SDN 04 Olo Kampung Padang. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle held five meetings. The research subject is the fourth grade students of SDN 04 Olo Kampung Padang totaling 28 people. The instrument used is the teacher activity observation sheet, sheet questionnaire student motivation and achievement test. The results showed that the cooperative learning model Think Pair Square can increase students' motivation for each indicator of the cycle I Cycle II 66.84% to 76.36%. With increasing student motivation in learning mathematics impact on student learning outcomes in the first cycle an average of learning outcomes is 70, while the percentage of mastery learning is 50% and the second cycle average of 82.85 while learning outcomes are learning completeness percentage is 85.71 % by KKM 75. It can be concluded that cooperative learning model Think Pair Square can improve motivation and learning outcomes of fourth grade students in learning mathematics in SDN 04 Olo Kampung Padang.
