HUBUNGAN KEBIASAAN BELAJAR DAN SIKAP DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA-BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS VIII SMP N 12 PADANG

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the relationship study habits and attitudes to learning outcomes IPA-Biolog class VIII SMPN 12 Padang. The study was descriptive with a population of 172 students of class VIII SMP N12 Padang enrolled in the 2nd half of the school year 2015/2016, with a sample of 119 students. The research variables are variables study habits (X1)  student attitudes ( X2) and of student learning outcomes (Y). There are two types of data, ie data on the attitudes and habits of student learning (primary data) which uses questionnaires and secondary data in the form of learning outcomes of the student's biology derived from the science teacher value daily tests. Data were analyzed using SPSS 16.0. The results of the analysis of the correlation formula demonstrated an association with the attitude of learning outcomes biology student with a strong correlation coefficient of 0.718 with a percentage of 51.7% attitude. Relations study habits to learning outcomes biology with a strong correlation coefficient r equal to 0.717 with the percentage relationship study habits to learning outcomes biology students at 51.0%. Relations with the study habits and attitude biology student learning outcomes were analyzed with multiple regression coefficient obtained strong correlation with r equal to 0.759 and the percentage relationship attitudes and habits of students studying biology at 63.2%. Results hypothesis by F test with significance level of 0.01 was obtained Fhitung 99.47 with a significance of 0.00 and 3.074 Ftabel price of F> F table it can be concluded H0 and H1 accepted. The results of this study stated that there is a strong relationship study habits and attitude to learning outcomes biology class VIII student at SMPN 12 Padang.
