Abstrak

This research backed by the low of study result in learning mathematics, especially in fourth grade SDN 02 Piobang. The low study result in learning mathematics caused by learning model of mathematics teaching which is still conventional. This research aimed to describe the improving student learning outcomes of fourth grade math student used by model ARIAS with CTL approach in SDN 02 Piobang. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK). The subject of this research is fourth grade students in SDN 02 Piobang, a total of 20 people consisting of 11 men and 8 women. The research instrument used was observation sheet activities of teachers and examination test sheet. The results showed that the average value of the learning outcomes first cycle of 54.25 increased in the second cycle into 78.63. The increase in cycle I to cycle II of 24.38. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that the used was ARIAS learning model with CTL approach can improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students in learning mathematics at SDN 02 Piobang. Researchers suggested that the learning model ARIAS with CTL approach can be used by teachers for teach students, especially in learning Mathematics.
