Abstrak

This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in the class V SD Negeri 25 Koto Alam subdistrict Palembayan Agam. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 25 Koto Alam subdistrict Palembayan Agam using the approach of Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) .This research is a classroom action research (PTK) carried out in four cycles. The data source is a fifth grade students of SD Negeri 25 Koto Alam subdistrict Palembayan Agam with students of 16 people. The instrument used is the teacher activity assessment sheets and sheets test student learning outcomes. The result showed that the ability of student learning outcomes in learning geometry in the first cycle increased 61.25% in the second cycle into 83.31%. Based on the results, it can be concluded that an increase in class V student learning outcomes in learning mathematics in SDN 25 Koto Alam using Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education Approach (PMRI).
