HUBUNGAN PARTISIPASI KELUARGA DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA (BIOLOGI) SISWA KELAS VIII MTsN PARAK LAWAS PADANG

Abstrak

This research aims to know the relationship of family participation with the results of the study to the study of NATURAL SCIENCE (Biology) grade VIII MTsN Parak Old Padang. One of the factors that can affect the low results learn IPA students (Biology) is the external factors i.e. family participation. The study was descriptive in nature with a population of 165 students of class VIII MTsN Parak Lawas are registered on semester 1 year 2015/2016, with a sample of 41 students. Sampling random sampling that is 25% of each class. Variables this research is the participation of the family as the variable X and the results of the study as the variable y. data types there are two types of primary data IE (family participation) by way of spreading the now consists of 25 items of secondary data in the form of statements and the results of the study of biology students in question obtained from teachers and SCIENCE (Biology), namely the score of UAS 1. Data are analyzed using the correlation formula Product Moment. From family participation research results obtained average value of the highest to the lowest variable sub cultural habits are in families with high category 4.39, home atmosphere i.e. 4.36 with high category, how parents educate i.e. 4.17 with categories being, relationships with family members namely 3.74 by category and sub family economy variables i.e. 3.74 by category. The analysis calculation of the coefficient of correlation of family participation using SPSS 16.0 obtained r = significant 0.943 0.00 0.01 <. It can be concluded that the relationship between the two variables of family participation with a significant level of learning outcome the extent of trust 0.01 or 99% showed a positive relationship between participation of families with student learning outcomes.
