Abstrak

This study aims to determine the relationship of the students' attitudes toward learning outcomes pembelajara Science-Biology class VIII SMPN 31 Padang. This is a descriptive study with a population of 96 students of class VIII SMPN 31 Padang in the 2nd half of the school year 2015/2016, with a sample of 78 students. This study is a descriptive study by random sampling study design. Samples were taken at random from each class. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation formula. From the research it appears that there is a relationship between the attitudes of students in the learning outcomes Science-Biology. Calculation of coefficients for each sub variables of research that there is a correlation being between sub variable students 'attitudes toward the material to learning outcomes Science-Biology is (r) 0.569, there is a strong correlation between sub variable students' attitudes toward teachers with learning outcomes Science-Biology, namely ( r) 0.697, the correlation sub variable students' attitudes toward learning process to learning outcomes science-Biology (r) 0.612 and the correlation sub variables student attitudes related to values or norms associated with a material science with the learning outcomes of science-Biology (r) 0.615 , Overall variable attitudes of students in learning science-biology learning result obtained by calculating the correlation coefficient is r = 0.832. Furthermore, the calculation of the coefficient of determination indicating that the relationship student attitudes to learning outcomes Science-Biology students at 69.2%. Based on the hypothesis test, obtained tcount 13.903 and 2,381 ttable so thitung> ttabel. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between students' attitudes to learning outcomes in learning Science-Biology class VIII SMPN 31 Padang with 0.832 correlation value with a very strong category at 99% confidence level (α = 0.01).
