This research is motivated by the lack of skills in asking questions and learning outcomes of fourth grade students in learning science at SDN 38 Api-Api Pesisir Selatan. The purpose of this study was to describe the questioning skills and student learning outcomes in learning science by using model Improve fourth grade SDN 38 Api-Api Pesisir Selatan. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final exam cycle, the subject of this study fourth grade students who totaled 15 people. The instruments used were observation sheet teacher learning activity, ask students the skills of observation sheets and sheets final test cycle. Results of research conducted showed an increased questioning skills of students in learning science by using model Improv. Based on the observation skills of asking students in the first cycle with several levels, namely the skills to ask the knowledge level reached 51.10%, questioning skills level of understanding reached 51.11%, questioning skills application level reached 54.43% with the criteria a little while in the second cycle skills asks the knowledge level reached 71.10%, questioning skills level of understanding reached 73.32%, questioning skills application level reached 76.66% a lot. While the rate of cognitive learning outcomes completeness first cycle (26.66%) with an average of 63 criteria have not yet reached KKM, at the second cycle level cognitive mastery learning outcomes reached (73.33%) with an average of 77.86 with the criteria already reached KKM. From this research, it was concluded skills in asking questions and learning outcomes of students in learning science can be enhanced by using modelImprove.
