INCREASING STUDENTS ABILITY IN STUDY SCIENCES BY USING COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL TYPE NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER AT V GRADE SDN 16 PISANG KECAMATAN PAUH

Abstrak

          This research is increasing the ability of students in studying sciences using Cooperative type NHT model At V Grade students in SDN 16 Pisang Kecamatan Pauh, Padang. The researcher is used classroom action research with Qualitative and Quantitative Approach; this research is done in two cycles. In the cycle I, it performed in 2 meeting class and the cycle II performed in 1 meeting class. Within research procedures are planning, performing, observing and reflecting. This research is done in the first semester in 2015/2016 school year in SDN 16 Pisang Kec. Pauh, Padang. The subject of this research is students in V grade that consist of 12 students. In collecting data, the researcher is used observation sheet, test sheet, and documentation. The instruments are the sheet of test and photo. The results of the test show the increasing of students study. It shows in increasing of teacher aspect in cycle I among 66% and increasing in cycle II becomes 83%, while the cognitive evaluation cycle I is 45% and increasing to cycle II become 83%. Affective evaluation in cycle I is 72%, increase in Cycle II becomes 79%, while in psychometric evaluation in cycle I is 71%, increase to 80%. In conclusion, the process of learning sciences using Cooperative type numbered head together can increase the students ability.
