PENERAPAN MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) DALAM PEMBELJARAN BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS VIII MTsN MODEL PADANG

Abstrak

This research is aimed to see the differences of study result. The type of the research is experiment and the population of this reasecrh is all students in grade VIII of MTsN Model Padang. The research sample is defined by using random sampling technique. The study result  which was observed is the cognitive aspect that was seen from post-test result, while affective and psycomotor aspect was seen from observation sheet. From the data analysis that use t experiment, it was found that tcount is 3.90. If it is compared to ttable 1,67, so that tcount > ttabel. (α 0,05), so that the hypothesis is accepted. Result study of cognitive aspect in experiment class (average 73,94) with the completeness percentage 75,67%, then the control class (average 58,94) with completeness percentage 73,68%. The result study of affective aspect in class experiment (average 90,38), then the control class (average 82,00). The result study of psycomotor aspect in experiment class (average (91,00), then the control class (average 82,59). Based on the result of the research, it was concluded that implementation of Group Investigation (GI) cooperative type gives positive differences toward the biology study result of students in grade VIII of MTsN Model Padang in year 2015/2016. In this research, biology teachers are able to apply Group Investigation (GI) cooperative type by considering the time provided.
