PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT SIBERUT DISTRICT TAILELEU VILLAGE WEST MENTAWAI ISLANDS DISTRICT

Abstrak

This study aims: To know people's participation in development planning, to know the community participation in the implementation of development and to determine the level of community participation in maintaining also benefit from the construction of the Village Taileleu. This type of research is descriptive. The instrument used is a guide questionnaire, interview, observation and documentation guidelines. The results showed that the level of community participation in development planning village of only 50%, level of community participation in the implementation of village development 83.33% Rate partisivasi in maintaining and benefit from rural development as much as 90% of the people in the village Taileleu Siberut District Southwestern tend to be more active participate in the implementation and might also accept and maintain the benefits of rural development compared to participate in rural development planning.
