Abstrak

This study aims to generate nuanced magazine module is equipped with a glossary on the material pests and diseases in plants to class VIII SMPN 12 Padang. This type of research is the development of research using three stages of 4-D Model, define phase (definition), design (design) and develop (development). Modules developed validated by the validator 3 lecturers, namely 1 Biology Education Studies Program lecturers, 1 lecturer Study Program Informatics and Computer Engineering, and 1 lecturer Indonesian Studies Program. to the practicalities done by 2 subjects biology teachers and 70 students of class VIII SMPN 12 Padang. This research data is primary data obtained from the questionnaire validity and practicalities, with descriptive analysis. Based on research that has been done, the modules produced with the validity criteria 90.21% of lecturers are very valid. and the practicalities of the modules of the teacher is 92.57% with a very practical criteria. Module practicalities of students amounted to 94.25% with a very practical criteria. From the research it can be concluded that the criteria nuanced magazine module is equipped with a glossary on the material pests and diseases in plants to class VIII SMPN 12 Padang is very valid and very practical in the sense modules developed easy to use, helpful and learning time more efficient.
