Abstrak

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the activity and learning outcomes of students learning mathematics implement cooperative learning model Means-Ends Analysis in class VII SMPN 12 Padang. The hypothesis of this study is the proportion of complete learn student mathematics learning implement cooperative learning model Means-Ends Analysis is higher than the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics is learning to apply the usual methods of learning. This type of research is experimental research. The population in this study were students of class VII SMPN 12 Padang in the academic year 2015/2016. The sample in this study is 33 persons VII.1 grade students as an experimental class and class VII.2 as many as 34 students as control class. Mathematics learning activities of students in the experimental class is generally higher than the activity of learning mathematics students in the control class. While the results of students in the second grade study sample, after a hypothesis test obtained by = 3,39 and db = 1 with 0,025 < p < 0,05. Therefore p < 0,05 means rejected and H1accepted. Thus, the hypothesis that the proportion of students studying mathematics learning implement cooperative learning model Means-Ends Analysis is higher than the proportion of students mathematics learning outcomes which apply the usual learning method.
