GANGGUAN KEPRIBADIAN TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL PASUNG JIWA KARYA OKKY MADASARI SUATU TINJAUAN PSIKOLOGI SASTRA

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose of the research was to describe the main character in Pasung Jiwa by Okky Madasari by observation from their personality disorders, such as paranoid personality disorder, schizoid, skizopital, antisocial, sill, histrionic, narcissistic, avoiding, dependent, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. The theory used were literary theory proposed by Endut (2007), and personality disorders theory proposed by Tomb (2014). This research was qualitative approach and descriptive method. Technique of analyzing data used in this research as follows: (1) classified the data by the type and the factors of the main character personality disorders, (2) analyzed the data based on the form and the types of the main character personality disorder, (3) analyzed the factors of main character personality disorder, (4) interpreted moral value delivered by the authors through the depiction of the main character personality disorders, (5) made a conclusion based on the result of analyzing data. Based on the result of the data, it was found as follows: First, the main characters had a personality disorder. Sasana had a dependent personality disorder, it could be seen by acting passive, uncomfortable and dependent. Beside that, Sasana also had schizoid, skizopital, antisocial, and sill. Jaka Wani had a avoiding personality disorder, it could be seen by having excessive shyness, felt lonely, and alone. Beside that, Jaka Wani also shown a symptom of obsesif-komplusif, skizopital, antisocial, and sill. Second, the dominant personality disorders waspsychology factor, it shown by the stress confronting at environment situation (parents) and at school, so that it also shown the influence of factors in family and environment. Third, the dominant of moral value was children should not be to weak and brittle in facing their life. Beside that, parents should understand and pay attention to all of the changing of their children’s attitude in order to avoid a bad effect from their social intercourse.
