PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA NYARING SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA MELALUI MODEL EXPLICIT INTRUCTION PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN 04 KOTO LAWEH KABUPATEN SOLOK
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the observation that was held on March 26, 2016, obtained information the lack of student skills in reading aloud a passage. This study aims to determine whether the use of explicit intruction models can improve the skills of students reading aloud, reading fluency, reading accuracy of pronunciation, intonation and clarity of reading in learning Indonesian. The theory of reading aloud conducted by Tarin (2008), and theories about explicit models intruction undertaken by istarani (2012). This research is a classroom action research with research subjects, namely the fourth grade students of SDN 04 Koto Laweh Solok regency of 20 people. The instrument of this study was the observation sheets teachers' implementation of the learning process, the observation sheet of students reading aloud skills and oral tests of student learning. Based on the observation sheet reading aloud skills students gained an average of the results of the study, namely: reading aloud skills of students in the first cycle with a percentage of 45%, while in the second cycle of 90%, thus an increase of 45%. Improving student learning outcomes first cycle with an average of 73.27 and an average cycle II 92.74, thus there is an increase in 19.47. Of the increase of research results in the first cycle and the second cycle this means a target of achieving successful learning in this study and the implementation of learning Indonesian with explicit models intruction progressing well. Based on these results, it is suggested that teachers can use explicit models intruction to improve the skills of reading aloud into learning Indonesian.Â
