PENINGKATAN KREATIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MELALUI METODE KUMON DI SDN 35 PAGAMBIRAN PADANG

Abstrak

 

This research is motivated by the lack of creativity of students in Mathematics teaching fourth grade at SDN 35 Pagambiran Padang. The purpose of this study is to describe the development of the creativity students of class IV in answering questions and doing exercises in learning Mathematics through Methods Kumon at SDN 35 Pagambiran Padang. This type of research used in this research is classroom action research (PTK). Subjects in this study is the fourth grade students of SDN 35 Pagambiran Padang, totaling 30 students. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet creativity of student learning, teacher activity observation sheet, and test student learning outcomes. Based on the results of this research is that the creativity of students increased from 70.9% 96.12% the first cycle to the second cycle, the average increase was 25.22%. Furthermore, the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle is 80% (23 votes) increased in the second cycle of 100% (30 people), the results of this study concluded that the study of Mathematics through methods Kumon at SDN 35 Pagambiran Padang can enhance creativity and learning outcomes students. Based on the results of this study researchers suggest that teachers can apply the Kumon method of learning Mathematics.

PENDAHULUAN

Matematika merupakan ilmu yang mendasari perkembangan modern, mempunyai peranan penting dalam berbagai disiplin ilmu. Pada kenyataannya matematika sering dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang

 

susah di mengerti, dimana matematikamerupakan suatu proses belajar mengajar yang dibangun oleh guru untuk mengembangkan kreativitas siswa yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir siswa.
