Abstrak

Researchers carrying out research in SDN 19 Talang Tan Saidi South Coastal District, that the lack of activity of students in asking, give opinions, and do the exercises in class V in the subject Civics. The research problems are how to increase student learning activities in asking, give opinions, and do the exercise on learning civics through the model Means Ends Analysis. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in the students' learning activities ask, give opinions, and do the exercise on learning civics through the model Means Ends Analysis. This research is a classroom action research. The subject of this study fifth grade students as many as 15 people. The research instrument used is the observation sheet teacher activity, student activity observation sheet ,, and achievement test. Of the activity or activities impact on increasing student learning outcomes, ie from the first cycle of the average value of student activity asked of 43.34%, the activity of an opinion by 36.67%, and do the exercise activity for a 59.99% increase to the average value -rata activity asked of 69.99%, the activity of an opinion by 66.65%, and the activity of doing latijhan of 79.99%. So, learning civics using Means Ends Analysis models can improve students' learning activities. From the research, it is recommended that teachers can use the model Means Ends Analysis to enhance the students' learning activities to learning Civics
