Abstrak

Abstract

One of factor many VIII grades students of SMPN 1 Lintau under standard deviation (KKM) because lack of mathematics concept understanding of student. Because of this problem teacher must be able to choose  teaching strategy of students. One of teaching strategy that can be used is cooperative teaching strategy type Think Pair Share (TPS). The propose of  this research of students as long as cooperative teaching strategy type think pair share (TPS) is used. Type of this research is experiment research. Type of data research is quantitative data. research of research data is primer and sekunder data resources, and  its resources writer got from administration office of SMP N I Lintau. To examine hypothesis the writer used formula t. Based on data analysis, which is used above hypothesis writer got 2,2770 and by using ttable = 1,6696 because tcounting> t table. That’s why hypothesis H0 is rejected. The hypothesis by applying cooperative teaching strategy type think pare share by using commonway of teaching, for VIII grade students of SMPN I Lintau in academic year 2014/2015.
