Abstract


Based on the observation that the researcher done at  SMPN  1 Bayang Utara, the researcher got the process of learning  still focus to the teacher. It was known  when the teacher gave the explanation about the lesson , the students still did not understand  about the material that the teacher had given, and the students still did not able to answer the question from the teacher. To overcome the problem the  researcher  wanted to apply the strategy Questions Students Have. The purpose to development the process of learning. Strategy Question Student Have, required the students to make the question in index of the card that increse the student ability.The design of this reserach was experiment. The population of this research was  the eight grade students SMPN 1 Bayang Utara Vlll1 as an experiment class, and VIII2 as a control class. The data in this research was the activity  of learning , quiz, and the process outcome of learning. The result that the researcher got from the student the data in the process teaching was better then before. Out come from the test experiment  class was better than the control class.
The test results were analyzed to test the hypothesis using the formula for two independent samples. At and db = 1 obtained p < 0.05 means rejected and H1 accepted. It means that the learning outcomes of students learning mathematics applying the learning strategy Questions Students Have better than learning outcomes for students learning mathematics applying the usual learning.
