Data were collected using a questionnaire consisting of 31 items of questions. The data is processed using SPSS 16 with a simple linear regression analysis. The results showed a very strong relationship between the reading habits to learning outcomes Biology class VII SMP Negeri 12 Padang values (r = 0956). In sub variable reading habits of a significant relationship between learning outcomes by the method of reading (r = 0.846), time / schedule read (r = 0.815), making signs or notes when reading (r = 0.739), concentrations of reading (r = 0,849), environmental health read (r = 0.790), the atmosphere read (r = 0.474), and reading (r = 0.547). In sub variable reading technique there is no significant relationship premises of learning outcomes (r = 0.313). On an average score overall with a score (r = 4.38) and simple linear regression equation Y = 0.460 16,784+, then the hypothesis H1 is accepted. From the research it can be concluded that there is a very strong relationship between the reading habits of learning outcomes.
