PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PROBLEM SOLVING MODEL SSCS PADA SISWA KELAS VI SDN 08 TANJUNG MEDAN

Abstrak

The aim of this classroom action research is to improve the activity and learning outcomes of fourth grade students in learning mathematics by using Problem Solving Method Model SSCS at SDN 08 Tanjung Medan. The study was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The research results, showed an average result of learning cycle I 70.27 with learning completeness percentage 59% and an average of 77.09 second cycle learning outcomes with learning completeness percentage of 81%. The result of data analysis on students activity, it was found that an average percentage of studens activity in the first cycle was 58.2%, while the second cycle the average percentage was 80.4%. It can be conducted that, learning mathematics by using Problem Solving Method Model SSCS can increase the learning activity and learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 08 Tanjung Medan. The researcher suggestS that teachers can apply the of Problem Solving method Model SSCS in teaching mathematics at elementary school .
