Abstrak

ABSTRACT

 

The research is affected by students’ learning result which is far under the criteria, lack of confidence and students tend to choose friends in discussing. The alternate choice that can be applied is applying Rotating Trio Exchange learning strategy. There search aim at analyzing students’ learning result by using the Rotating Trio Exchange learning strategy is better than the result of math learning using common learning strategy toward the eighth grade students of SMPN 7 Padang. The sort of the research is an experimental research whose population is the whole eighth grade students of SMPN 7 Padang in academic year 2015/2016. The sample is taken by using random sampling technique. Based on the data analysis of sample class learning result, the data indicates a normal result and have homogeneous variant, so to analyze the data the researcher used t-test formula so obtained , and  with the level of validity 95% so . Thus, hypothesis is accepted, which means the result of students’ math learning by using Rotating Trio Exchange learning strategy is better than students’ result by using the common learning strategy. Based on the result, the researcher suggest math teachers to apply Rotating Trio Exchange learning strategy as one of alternative choices to increase the students learning result.
