Abstrak

Abstract

Low yield learning math grade VIII SMPN 22 Merangin is caused by several factors, namely the lack of interaction between teachers with students or between students with students, a lack of students response to respond to teacher questions, lack of desire of the students to ask questions, the lack of confidence of students and lack of desire to discuss with my students in the learning process, so the teacher had difficulty in knowing whether or not students are already familiar with the materials have been delivered. The hypothesis proposed is the result of learning math students by implementing the strategy of active learning Campus Bowling type better than the results of the students learn math by applying ordinary learning in students of class VIII SMPN 22 Merangin. This type of research conducted research experiments. Sampling is done by sampling the saturation so that the selected class VIII.A as many as 22 people as students class experiments and class VIII.B as much as 21 students as  class controls. Data collection using the study results in the form of tests test descriptions. Based on the results of a study of students in both grades, after a sample test fo hypotheses with the formula t-tests on the level of confidence gained 0,05  = 3,5532 and              = 1,969. Because t>  then the hypothesis proposed is accepted. So it can be concluded that the results of the lesson that students learn math strategy active learning Campus Bowling type better than the results of the study of mathematics learning the lesson that students who apply, and the authors suggest that math teachers can apply this learning strategy as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes.
