This research discusses about the analysis of student’s interest in learning Math toward the math learning outcome of eight grader students of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Tarab. The analysis is about the enthusiasm that the students have to study Math in the class.This research is aimed to analyze student’s interest in learning Math toward the math learning outcome of eight grader students of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Tarab. The data was collected through questionnaire. The techniques of data analysis were descriptive analysis and inferential analysis, namely normality test, homogeneity test, simple linear regression analysis, hypothesis test using determination coefficient (R²) and ttest by SPSS program version 16.This research shows that ”There is a significant and positive effect between the student’s interest in learning Math toward the learning outcome of eight grader students of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Tarab, in which t>t_tableis (2,789>1,668) or sig <α (0,007<0,05)”. It means that the higher interest the students have the higher score the students will achieve and vice versa; the lower interest the students have the lower score the students will achieve. It was obtained that the value of determination coefficient (R²) was 10,5 %. This shows that the effect of the students’ interest was 10,5% toward the learning outcome of Eight grader students of SMP Negeri 4 Sungai Tarab.
