CAMPUR KODE DAN FUNGSINYA DALAM NOVEL RIMBA KABAN KARYA SYAFRIL TEHA NOER

Abstrak

ABSTRACT       

The aim of this research was to describe of type, kind, and code-mixing function on novelRimba Kaban by Syafril Teha Noer. The theory used is about sociolinguistic (code-mixing) was expressed by Nababan (1993), kind of code-mixing by Suwito (2002), and code-mixing function is based on the cause of the mixing-code by Rokhman (2013). Kind of this research is qualitative research by using descriptive method.The techniques analysis can be done with the steps to divide the type of code mixing found in the novelRimba Kaban by Syafril Teha Noer, wear the type ofcode-mixing as well as its function,interprete the link between shape and function of code-mixing, and concluded analysis result and interpretation data. Based on the results of the first aimed,it was found there were 92 code-mixing of data, consisting of 68 data of words, 12 data of pharase, and 12 data of clauses. Code-mixing it can be classified become (1) inner code-mixingas many as 55 pieces of data including of elements Betawi language, Javanese language, Minangkabau language into Indonesian language and (2) outer code-mixing as 37 data such as Arabic and English into Indonesian utterances. Second, code-mixing function is a requirement of vocabulary, which indicates self-identity, easy to convey meaning, respecting opponents said, show his good attitude as student, reinfoce of something, and refine the speech.
