Pengaruh Teknologi Informasi Komunikasi Terhadap Kecerdasan Emosional Siswa Kelas VII SMPN 16 Padang

Abstrak

This research aims to analyze the influence of information and communications technology to the emotional intelligence of students of class VII SMPN 16 Padang. The study involved 36 respondents seventh grade students of SMPN 16 Padang. This research is a descriptive correlational study. A sampling technique that uses simple random sampling. In this study, researchers spread research used questionnaires to a sample class. Data technology communication and emotional intelligence information collected through questionnaires using Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Then the data is processed using statistical methods with the help of SPSS version 15 for correlation and regression analysis. Results of the study show the data analysis information communication technology influence the emotional intelligence of students amounted to 42.51%.
