Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Direct Instruction Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas VII Pada Mata Pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi di SMP Pertiwi 1 Padang.
Abstrak
The purpose of this research was to know the learning outcome of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) students with Direct Instruction learning model better than conventional learning at seventh grade in SMP 1 Pertiwi Padang. The sampling technique of the research was total sampling. The sample in this research were distributed into two classes: 28 students in class VII.1 and 29 students in class VII.2. Based on data from the learning outcome of Information Technology and Communication students at class sample, hypothesis testing was done by using t-test in the average level. From the calculation of significance between control class and experimental class 0,064 / 2 = 0.032 <0.05 then H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Because sig> 0.05 then the hypothesis was accepted. It can be concluded that the learning outcome of Information and Communication Technology students who apply of Direct Instruction learning model was better than learning outcome Information and Communication Technology students who apply conventional learning. Based on this result, the researcher suggested that Information and Communication Technology teachers can apply Direct Instruction learning model in study of Information and Communication Technology as an effort to make learning becomes more active and makes students’ learning outcome be better.
