PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE CO-OP CO-OP TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PANTUN SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 2 KECAMATAN IV JURAI KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of cooperative learning model in the type of Co-Op Co-Op toward student’ ability in writing proverb at the VII grade of SMPN 2 Kecamatan Jurai Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The theories refer to the theories proposed by Sanjaya (2008) and Cooper (2012) about the Co-op Co-op type of cooperative learning model and Semi (2009) about about writing proverbs. The type of this research was quantitative research. The data of this research was obtained from pre-test and post-test in experiment class and the posttest data from control class. After collecting the data, the data of were analyzed by using normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis test. The result of data analysis, it was found that the average score of post test after getting treatment were 95 and it was found the average score of pretest was 60 before getting treatment. The differences of average score was 35. Based on the t-test in hypothesis I, it was obtained t_count = 6.34 with the value of significant was 5%, t_table­=1.69 so t_count<t_table thus H₀ was denied. Second, the average score of experiment class was 95 and control class was 81. There were 14 of the differences of average scores. Based on the t-test in hypothesis II, it was obtained t_count=6.34 which 5% of the value of significant, t_table=1.69 so t_count>t_table thus H₀ was denied. Based on the result of hypothesis test analysis, it was found there were significant differences between the learning output of the students’ ability in writing proverb who was taught by using the Co-op Co-Op type of cooperative and by using expository method at the VII grade students of SMPN 2 Kecamatan IV Jurai Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan in 2013/2014 academic year. Based on the result of hypothesis test, it was proved that the implementation of the Co-op Co-op type of cooperative learning model has a significant effect toward the learning output.
