Abstrak

Abstract

 

               The purpose of this research in general is to describe the educational values of the characters in the poem indigenous Minangkabau 1000 petatah petitih, specific objectives are (1) to describe the values of character education relate to religious (2) describe values of character education related to self alone (3) describe the values of character education to relate to others (4) describe the values of character education relating to the environment in Indigenous Minangkabau rhyme. Educational theory developed by Jamal Maur (2011: 74). The research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data analysis techniques as follows: (1) analyze all the data that have been classified in accordance with the value of character education, (2) classifying the data, (3) describe the values of character education in Minangkabau traditional rhyme. The results showed that there are some values of character education in rhyme indigenous Minangkabau 1000 maxim-petitih, as part of the culture, values education is a lot of in verse Minangkabau related to religious as much as 10 character education, in touch with yourself as much as 15 character education, character values associated with each other as much as 14 and values of character education related to the environment as much as 2 pieces. The conclusions of this study are from the analysis conducted there are 41 values of character education contained in rhyme indigenous Minangkabau-1000 adage petitih, Mamang Field, Pantun and Gurindam work Idrus Hakimi Dt. Rajo.
